IWCF Level 3 ( Driller Well Control Training )

Duration

5 days with the final IWCF examination on the morning of the 5th day.

Intended For

Derrickman, Assistant Driller, Driller, Well Construction Engineer, Mud Engineer, Mud Loggers and equivalent personnel who are expected to shut- in a well in well servicing or intervention operations.

Course Overview

This preparatory training course covers both the theory and practical sections of the IWCF syllabus.
Principles & Procedures - Paper covering the theory and Kick Sheet calculations of well control.
Equipment - Paper covering the functions and use of the various hardware used in a well control situation.
Simulation - This is the use of well control simulator equipment and controlling a simulated well control incident. This is practical exercises to assess practical skills.
Participant has to score minimum of 70% in both the papers to qualify for IWCF certificate.
Validity of the level 3 IWCF certificate is for two years.
