About IADC Rig Pass:
IADC Rig Pass is an accreditation of standardized safety orientation program for all oil and gas operations, whether onshore or offshore. Employers can feel confident that the participants who have completed an accredited IADC Rig Pass training has met with basic safety orientation requirements defined by drilling industry.
IADC Rig Pass is designed to provide the new employees with basic orientation of drilling and servicing orientations and safe work practices to improve the safety performance of the Service Contractor and the E & P Operator. It will also meet in satisfying federal, state, and industry regulations or recommended safety practices in Oil Industry.
A Rig Pass certificate will be awarded to all participants upon completion which ensures that the bearer have completed Rig Pass instruction as defined by the drilling industry’s leading safety and training professionals. Delegates will complete this program followed by a test which they must pass.
In short, Rig Pass is pre -requisite training program for those who wish to join Oil & Gas Companies and Oil Rigs in Offshore and on Land. Possession of Rig Pass certificate may help the prospective candidates in getting suitable jobs in the drilling industry which offers attractive emoluments
Eligibility: Any one with formal education and can understand English.
Rig Pass Training objective:
The key objective of IADC Rig Pass program is to provide delegates with a basic orientation of rig operations and safe work practices. The ultimate goal of this program is to improve the safety performance of the Contractors and the Exploration and Production Operators and to assist both in satisfying federal, state and industry regulations and recommended practices.
Upon completion, the employee will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of applicable regulations and government agencies, general safety policies applicable to the work site, incident and environmental protection reporting procedures, the service contractor/customer working relationship, and employee's responsibilities.
Duration: 2 days including written exam.
Course Designed for: Any person who is directly or indirectly associated with the Onshore and Offshore Industry can attend this course.
Certificate to the Candidates: Pass Certificates will be issued to those candidates who pass the written test on the last day of the course.
If your company wants PTCS to organize this course exclusively for your Crew at your office premises, it can be arranged provided you can nominate minimum 10 participants and a maximum of upto 18 participants per batch with 15 days advance notice.
